The Spanish word indicates "village," derived from the name pueblo, which the Spanish explorers called the residence - like homes they found in the early 17th century. It was an ancient Indian culture that focused on the Anasazi, a group of people in northern New Mexico including a few hundred to a hundred thousand people. The term is described by some as "Anasazis," although the term was not favoured by those who believed that the descendants of the cultural group were the native peoples and not their descendants. Together, these archaeological and natural features created a cultural landscape that connected the Pueblo and Navajo individuals to the Chaco Canyon. To this day, it and the surrounding area are a spiritual place for the people of the southwest. In 2010, the Chaco Culture National Historic Park was developed as a national monolith to preserve and tell the story of what it is today, which is the largest historical site of its kind in the United States. The park is protected by lots of excellent buildings and with a total area of 1. 5 million square miles is among the biggest nationwide monoliths in the USA. For many indigenous people, the limits of the park do not cover everything that is spiritually and culturally crucial, but for those whose cultures are little, the big adjoining cultural landscape is substantial. It contains numerous websites that have fantastic spiritual and cultural value for modern native individuals. Navajo and other Native Americans who continue to live in the countryside, raise their households and continue the livestock and farming practices of their ancestors. Navajo individuals and support the families who raise them, as well as other Native Americans who continue to live on this land.
